wanderings of an aimless vortex

This in-car nation will die some day.

I'm kind of a wanderer, although now I feel firmly entrenched in Austin. I lived in Massachusetts for most of my life, except for the year my family was in Phoenix, and I basically left so that I wouldn't have to put up with being cold all the time. I think a lot (I'm basically a stereotypical enneagram type 5). I work for a Linux company. I mostly write about daily life and whatever I'm thinking about in terms of the state of the world and what it means for me. I am part of a group that is trying to start a housing cooperative, so sometimes I end up writing about that.

This journal is mostly friends-only, but feel free to add me and I'll probably add back.
