I thought I posted this the other day, but somehow I didn't. Anyway, I was talking to a woman who often goes to Littleton on the train I take to see her horse. I was telling her that I'll be a delegate to the Democratic state convention, and she said that she didn't know anything about politics. She told me that she voted for Reagan because she knew that he liked horses.
So I wonder how many people are like her, not paying attention and voting for superficial reasons, and how this affects elections.
Okay, now I really need to stop goofing off and get back to work.

most, i'm afraid...if not superficial, then comfortable reasons, reasons they don't have to think to support, knee-jerk 'wholesome' reasons...almost all even.
